'A' LIVE METHOD |

The
'A' Live Method is
the exclusive method developed and designed by Aurora Live
Studios owner and founder Karen Andrew.
|
This
method is the primary method taught at Aurora Live Studios,
and is also a concept centered around an individuals breathing
and the ability to use this breath to encourage body alignment.

The
core of this method is deeply rooted in a grounded and solid
connection to the floor, while incorporating a strong sense
of core stability and connection to the abdomen, creating a
'power center' from which to draw while executing basic dance
movement. |
This
method, created and implemented for over ten years, has helped
dancers of all abilities gain awareness of their core, or mid-section,
thereby encouraging length and core stability. This also improves
a dancers overall ability to move and dance with greater ease
and fluidity. |
Over
the years, this concept has aided in the development of
strong, agile, aware dancers, who's skills have not only
improved in dance, but who now also have a greater awareness
of breath and it's potential to assist dance in an extremely
positive way. |
