Hello, and welcome to AURORA LIVE STUDIOS!

AURORA LIVE STUDIOS was founded in 2002. My vision at that time was to offer dancers, very much like myself at one time, technical jazz dance classes that would challenge and inspire them to continue dancing and follow their dreams of a successful career in the entertainment field in whatever capacity they chose. Jazz dance has, and always will be my passion, and I was eager to share my knowledge and passion for the art form with them. I was able to do this successfully, and was extremely fortunate to work with talented and dedicated dancers who required exactly what I offered.

Over the next four years, I proceeded to expand the levels and genres of dance that I offered to include Musical Theatre Dance, and to also include levels of dance that could accommodate not only individuals who wanted to pursue a career in entertainment, but also to those who enjoyed dance for the shear love of the art form.

I have taught hundreds of dancers over the past fifteen years. In the last six years, having taught exclusively in Toronto, I have met so many amazing individuals of such varying levels and abilities who share a passion to dance and to learn, and I feel extraordinarily greatful to have been given the opportunity to work with them.

In addition to working with such wonderful individuals over the past six years, I have developed a method of instruction (The 'A' Live Method™) that has helped dancers become more aware of the connection between breathing, body alignment, and movement together. This method has proven effective and has helped numerous students develop a keener sense of what is required to dance efficiently.
