The Aurora Live Studios Tiny Tot Division has been specifically designed for those children three to five years of age who are learning movement for the first time. This program offers three dance genres including, Ballet, Jazz, and Creative Movement. Tiny Tot's will be introduced to the basics of movement, and will gain awareness of the connection between music, and movement. |

| CLASS
DESCRIPTIONS |

||
| BALLET | ||
|
A
traditional form of movement that encourages fluidity, grace, poise,
and upper and lower body strength necessary to execute these qualities.
Emphasis is placed on body alignment and co-ordination while children
learn basic techniques including arm and foot placement, classical
turns and jumps, and an overall appreciation for this specific form
of movement. Dress Code: Ballet Slippers, pink tights, black or pink leotard. Hair must be placed up and off of the neck in either a bun or braid. |

| JAZZ | ||
|
A
stylized form of movement that encourages stronger and sharper movements
than traditional ballet. It is designed to promote a contemporary
and stylish movement that will help children develop a keener sense
of musicality and rhythm as it relates to their overall movement
ability. Focus is also placed on mastering basic jazz techniques,
including turns and jumps. Dress Code: Pink or Black Leotard, Pink or flesh colored tights and Jazz shoes. Hair must be worn up and off the neck in either a bun or braid. |

| CREATIVE MOVEMENT | ||
|
This
course offers a form of movement that fosters freedom of physical
motion. Shapes and postures make up the core of this genre of movement,
and participants are encouraged to create movement organically through
their own artistic impulses. A limited amount of structure is applied
to facilitate a level of discipline within the practice. Creativity
and a strong sense of play is strongly encouraged. Dress Code: Any color of comfortable fitting pant and top or t-shirt. |
